A KAZAKH RUG, the madder field with four
medallions, fiowerheads and serrated leaves, an
ivory gui border, twin guard stripes, 8ft. 3in. by
Aft. lin. (251cm. by 124cm.), circa 1920, condition:
fair., slight wear.

A TIBETAN THRONE BACK COVER, the ivory
field with a four-clawed dragon in pursuit of the
‘flaming pearl’, diagonal river border breaking on
to seafoam and rockwork, 2ft. lin. by Ift. 3in.
(66cm. by 69cm.), circa 1920, condition: good, colour
run.

A MEREZE RUG, the indigo field with diagonal botehs, four borders, 5ft. lOin. by 3ft. 6in. (178cm. by 107cm.), circa 1900, condition: fair.

A MALAYER CARPET, the madder field with herati pattern, five borders, 9ft. 11m. by 5ft. 3m. (302cm. by 160cm.), circa 1900, condition: fair.

AN UNUSUAL GYMUL RUG, the ivory field with
a large pole medallion, animais and birds, an indigo
turtle and vine border, single guard stripes, 9ft. 5in.
by 5ft. (181cm. by 152cm.), circa 1900, condition:
fair.

A GHOM CARPET, the madder field with
palmettes, vines and fiowerheads, pale indigo
border with palmettes, leaves and vines, twin guard
stripes, 10/r. 3m. by 6ft. lin. (311cm. by 201cm.),
circa 1950, condition: good.

AN ARMENIAN RUG, the madder field with
sixteen medallions, people, animais and birds, three
borders, 8ft. 6in. by 3ft. lin. (259cm. by 109cm.),
circa 1900, condition : fair.

A KERMAN CARPET, the ivory field with a pale
indigo medallion, a blue border with flowers and
vases, 10/f. 2m. by 6ft. 11m. (310cm. by 211cm.),
circa 1950, condition: fair.

A SOUMAKH CRADLE, with bands of g^ils,
3ft. 5in. by Aft. 11m. (105cm. by 150cm.), circa
1880, condition : fair.

A SOUMAKH FRAGMENT, the indigo field with
hooked guis and two rows of peacocks either side,
3ft. Ain. by lft. lin. (102cm. by 48cm.), circa 1900,
condition: slight wear.

A TABRIZ CARPET, the ivory field and borders ail with arabesques and vines, lift. 10m. by 8ft. 3m. (361cm. by 151cm.), circa 1930, condition: fair.

field with herati pattern, green turtle and vine
border, three inner and two outer guard stripes,

A KERMAN CARPET, the ivory field with an
indigo pole medallion and madder spandrels, ail
with roses and floral sprays, an ivory floral border
and twin guard stripes, 12/r. by 8ft. 6m. (366cm. by
259cm.), circa 1930, condition: fair.

A KERMAN CARPET, the plain burgundy
field with a floral medallion and spandrels, an
indigo border of similar design, triple guard stripes,
14/r. lin. by 9ft. 8m. (429cm. by 295cm.), circa 1930,

A FARAGHAN CARPET, the indigo field with
an overall design of herati pattern, a madder turtle
and vine border, three inner and two outer guard
stripes, 14/r. 10m. by 8ft. 10m. (452cm. by 269cm.),

rose medallion, surrounded by garlands of flowers,
